Part one of Tongham's August Bank Holiday double-header proved hot, dry, dusty and chaotic. The stage was set well before 8 am, when the queue turning in under the Watercress Line bridge stretched way down the A31, and although most classes attracted their usual car counts, the "Nudge and Spin" Bangers brought in about double their expected numbers, leading to an extremely busy day, especially for those battling the summer water shortage to try and keep the track raceable. They succeeded, as you'll be able to spot a few cars through the dust in these photos!.
